Wheels & Tires FAQ

How do I know what wheel size fits my truck?
Fitment depends on your bolt pattern, wheel offset, backspacing, and any lift or leveling kit you have installed. Bring your truck in and we will verify the correct spec before ordering anything. Getting offset wrong causes rubbing — we check everything before it goes on.
What is the difference between mud terrain and all-terrain tires?
All-terrain tires are designed to handle both highway driving and light off-road use. They are quieter on the road and wear longer. Mud terrain tires have a more aggressive tread pattern built for deep mud, rock, and serious off-road conditions — they are louder on the highway but grip better in the dirt. We will help you pick the right tire for how you actually drive.
Do you mount and balance tires in-house?
Yes. All mounting and balancing is done in-house at our Willis shop. We torque everything to spec and make sure nothing rubs before your truck leaves. No drop-shipping tires to another shop — we handle the full job start to finish.
Can I run larger tires without a lift kit?
Sometimes, depending on your truck and the tire size you want. Many trucks can fit slightly larger tires with just a leveling kit and the right wheel offset. If you want to go significantly larger — like 35s or 37s — a lift kit is usually needed to avoid rubbing. We will tell you exactly what is possible for your specific truck.
What wheel brands do you carry?
We carry Fuel Off-Road, Medusa Forged, Method Race Wheels, KMC, Hostile, American Force, Moto Metal, and more. We also have access to many other brands — if you have something specific in mind, let us know and we can source it.
How long does a wheel and tire installation take?
A standard wheel and tire swap typically takes 1–3 hours depending on the size of the package and whether an alignment is needed. We will give you a realistic timeframe when you book.
