Lift Kit Financing: How $10 Down, 100 Days Same as Cash Really Works

The truck you want costs more than the cash in your pocket — welcome to the club. Most builds we do at our shop in Willis are financed, and the question we hear daily is some version of "how does that actually work?" Here's the straight answer, provider by provider.

The Two Flavors of Financing

1. Traditional financing (Affirm & Sunbit)

Works like a normal loan: you're approved for an amount, you pay fixed monthly payments, and your rate depends on credit. Approval takes minutes — Sunbit advertises seconds. Best rates go to qualifying credit, and there's no penalty for paying early.

2. Lease-to-own (Acima, Snap & Kafene)

Built for thin or bruised credit — approval rates are much higher because it's structured as a lease you own at the end. Snap approves up to $5,000 with no credit needed. The trade-off is higher total cost if you ride out the full term… which brings us to the trick that makes lease-to-own genuinely smart:

How "100 Days Same as Cash" Actually Works

Acima's headline deal: $10 down, and if you pay off the full cash price within 100 days, you pay no lease markup. Effectively an interest-free 3-month payment plan. Miss the window and standard lease terms kick in — so the play is simple: only use it when you can realistically clear the balance in 100 days. We tell customers this to their face because we'd rather you finance smart than come back mad.

What Can You Finance?

The whole build — not just parts. Lift kit, wheels, tires, accessories, and the installation labor, wrapped into one amount. Most customers finance the complete package rather than splitting it.

What Does a Real Build Cost Per Month?

Play with the numbers yourself — our financing page has a payment estimator: slide to your build total and see the Acima weekly figure plus 12- and 24-month views. As a quick example, a $4,000 lift-and-tires package runs roughly $286/week on Acima's 100-day plan or about $333/month over 12 months, depending on approval terms.

How to Apply

Two ways: apply online through our financing page (Acima, Snap, and Kafene have direct links), or just send us your truck info and tell us you want financing — we'll point you at the provider that fits your situation and have an answer, usually in minutes. Then your parts get ordered and your install gets scheduled like any other job.

The Bottom Line

Good credit? Affirm or Sunbit for the lowest total cost. Rebuilding credit? Acima's 100-days-same-as-cash is the smartest play if you can pay it off inside the window. Either way, the build you want doesn't have to wait for the cash pile to catch up.

Pricing mentioned reflects typical ranges at the time of writing — every truck and build is different, and prices can change. Your free estimate locks in the exact number.
