Titan owners get left out of most leveling articles - everything is written for F-150s and Silverados, and the Nissan crowd is left guessing whether the same rules apply. Mostly they do, with a few Titan-specific wrinkles worth knowing before you book an install. Here is the straight version, from a shop that levels whatever rolls through the door in Willis.
What a leveling kit does on a Titan
Like every domestic half-ton, the Titan ships with factory rake - the nose sits lower than the tail so the truck levels out under a load. A 2-to-2.5-inch front leveling kit brings the nose up even, kills the dropped-front look, and opens up clearance for a taller tire. Titan leveling kit cost installed
Same pricing as any other half-ton at our shop: a quality 2-inch spacer-style leveling kit runs from $550 installed - parts, labor, and alignment included. Strut-replacement style kits (Bilstein 5100 adjustables are the favorite here) start around $750 installed and make the most sense on higher-mileage Titans where the factory struts are due anyway.

The Titan's wheel wells are roomier than GM's but tighter than Ford's - 33s drop in, 34s are the smart aggressive pick, and 35s are a "bring it by and let us measure" conversation. General sizing rules are in best tire size after a leveling kit.
Will leveling hurt the ride or the warranty?
With a quality kit installed correctly, no - the spring rate and shock valving stay factory with a puck kit, and a strut-style kit usually rides better than the worn parts it replaces. The mistakes that create harsh-riding leveled trucks are cheap no-name spacers and skipped alignments, both avoidable. On warranty: leveling a Titan does not void the factory warranty as a whole, though a dealer can decline coverage on a part it can show the modification affected. That is federal law, not shop opinion, and it is the same answer for every truck brand we work on.
Does leveling change how the Titan tows?
The factory rake exists so the tail can squat under a trailer without pointing the headlights at the sky. Level the nose and you have spent that squat allowance - the truck now sits level empty and slightly tail-low loaded. For a boat run to Lake Conroe or a utility trailer, the difference is minor and most owners never notice. If you tow heavy every weekend, mention it when you book: sometimes the right answer is a smaller front level, and sometimes it is helper springs or bags in the rear to restore the margin. Either way it is a thirty-second conversation that saves a redo.
How long the install takes
A spacer-style level on a Titan is a two-to-three-hour job including the alignment - morning drop-off, lunchtime pickup. Strut-replacement kits add roughly an hour. If we find a worn ball joint or tie rod while the front end is apart, we call you with a price before touching it, not after.
Titan XD and Frontier notes
Titan XD: the XD is its own platform - heavier front end, different strut assembly - so kit part numbers do not cross over from the standard Titan. Leveling it works the same way; just make sure the kit says XD on the box. We spec that for you as part of the quote.
Frontier: the mid-size gets leveled too, usually 2 inches in front for a 32-33" tire. Same install process, same from-$550 pricing.
