The Tundra is one of the most satisfying trucks to level — the factory rake is obvious, and the platform takes a stance change well. Here's the real fitment picture for leveled Tundras, especially the 2022+ trucks, from research plus what rolls through our shop in Willis.
What a leveling kit does on a Tundra
A 2" front leveling kit brings the nose even with the rear. On the 2022+ Tundra 4WD, quality kits pair the spacers with differential drops to keep CV axle angles happy — that's the detail cheap installs skip.
Tundra leveling kit cost
A standard 2" puck-style leveling kit — parts, labor, and alignment included — typically runs $550–$600 plus tax at our shop. Kits with diff drops or replacement struts run more; struts start around $750.
Best tire size on a leveled Tundra
33s fit clean. On a 2" level, 33" tires clear on most Tundras with no trimming — a 33x12.5 on a 9" wheel with around +25 offset is the textbook no-rub setup.
34s are the no-trim ceiling on the new trucks. On 2022+ Tundras, a 295/60R20 (about 34") on a 20x9 with modest positive offset is the biggest size that stays trim-free.
35s = trimming territory. They'll fit with positive-offset wheels, but plan on mud flap removal and skid plate/liner trimming, and hard cornering can still find the body mount on some setups. If you want 35s with no compromises, that's lift-kit conversation, not leveling-kit.
| Setup | Fits? | What it takes |
|---|---|---|
| 33s + 2" level | Clean fit | Nothing on most trucks (33x12.5 on 9" +25 is the classic) |
| 34" (295/60R20) + 2" level | Yes — no-trim max on 2022+ | 20x9 wheel, modest positive offset |
| 35s + 2" level | With work | Positive offset + mud flap removal + skid/liner trimming |
| 35s, zero compromises | Best with a lift | Proper lift kit territory |
