Wheels and tires are the fastest way to change how your truck looks and drives, and they are one of the most common jobs we do at our Willis, TX shop. But "how much is a wheel and tire package" is a loaded question, because the price depends on your truck, the size you want, and whether you need any suspension work to fit it. Here is a straight breakdown of what a package costs, what actually fits, and how to get real numbers for your truck.
What a wheel and tire package includes
A package is the wheels, the tires, and the labor to put them on your truck, bundled into one price. At Lift Pro Customs that means the wheels, the tires, mounting, balancing, new valve stems, and a road-force check so your truck drives smooth. We do all of it in-house, so you are not dropping your truck at one shop for wheels and another for the tires. One appointment, done right, and you drive out on the new setup.
How much does a wheel and tire package cost?
Here is the honest range. Tires start around $1,250 for a set, wheels start around $1,750 for a set, and a complete wheel and tire package starts around $3,000 installed. Where you land in that range depends on the size and brand you want, whether you are running a common half-ton fitment or a heavy-duty truck, and how aggressive you want the look. A clean 20-inch wheel with a good all-terrain tire lands very differently than a 22-inch on a 35-inch mud-terrain, and we will price both honestly for your exact truck.
Quick Estimate
Wheel size and offset (the part most people get wrong)
Diameter is the easy part. The number that actually decides whether your new wheels rub, poke, or tuck is offset (and its cousin, backspacing). Offset is how far the mounting face sits from the wheel's centerline. A more aggressive (lower or negative) offset pushes the wheel outward for that wide stance, but push it too far and you catch fenders, flares, or control arms, especially at full turn. We match the offset to your truck and your goals so the stance looks right and the tire clears through the whole range of travel.
What tire size fits my truck?
On a stock half-ton, most trucks clear a 33-inch tire with the right wheel and little or no trimming. To run 35s cleanly you usually want a leveling kit and sometimes a little trimming, and bigger than that starts pushing into lift-kit territory. Heavy-duty trucks and different body styles all have their own sweet spots. If you are not sure what your truck will take, send us your year, make, and model and we will tell you what fits before you spend a dime.
Do I need a leveling or lift kit to fit bigger tires?
Sometimes, and it is better to plan it as one job. If you already know you want a level and bigger tires, doing the leveling kit, the wheels, and the tires in one appointment means one install and one alignment instead of paying twice. That is exactly why we bundle it, and our $550 leveling special covers the kit, parts, install, and alignment on most half-ton trucks. Tell us the whole plan and we will put together one out-the-door number.
Mounted and balanced in-house, fitment guaranteed
Because we mount and balance everything ourselves, we stand behind the fit. We check that your new setup clears at full lock and full stuff, torque everything to spec, and make sure your truck tracks straight before it leaves. If you also want an alignment dialed in after the change, we handle that in the same shop.
Financing and how to get a real quote
You do not have to pay for the whole package up front. We offer financing and lease-to-own, and many customers are approved in minutes and roll out the same day. When you are ready, the fastest way to a real number is to send us your truck (year, make, model, and the look you are after). We serve Willis, Conroe, Montgomery, and The Woodlands, and most quotes come back the same day.
